Scott Mays is Assistant General Counsel for Tufts Health Plan. Scott’s practice focuses on providing legal counsel to the company in the areas of regulatory compliance, commercial products, operations, and dispute resolution. Prior to joining Tufts Health Plan, Mr. Mays was a litigator specializing in securities and complex commercial litigation at several prominent Boston law firms, including Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom and Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky & Popeo.  Mr. Mays is a 2005 graduate of Northeastern University School of Law, where he was a teaching assistant for legal research and writing and was active in the Black Law Students Association. Scott obtained his B.A. in psychology from Boston University in 2001.  Mr. Mays previously served as a Director of the MBLA and chairperson of the student support committee in 2010-2011. Mr. Mays is also a member of the Boston Bar Association and the American Health Lawyers Association.
