- August 28th, 2008, we joined the area Affinity Bar organizations at
Fenway Park for a Red Sox Game!

CIVIL RIGHTS RECEPTION
- On September 8th, 2008, the MBLA co-sponsored a Civil Rights
Reception with Chief Justice Marshall at the Boston Bar Association.

- On September 10th, 2008, the MBLA honored our Past Presidents and
Board Members with a special reception at Goodwin Procter.

TIPS FOR RUNNING A SUCCESSFUL AND ETHICALLY SOUND
PRACTICE
- On November 19th, 2008, the MBLA presented Stacey Best, Esq.,
Assistant Bar Counsel, Gina Walcott, Esq., Executive Director of Lawyers
Concerned for Lawyers and Rodney Dowell, Esq.
- The program focused on ways to avoid the most common and recurring
problems in running a modern law practice.
- We also presented resources available to help you effectively expand
and manage your practice.
- In short, every practitioner was able to brush up on common ethical
issues while learning how to make money and stay out of trouble.
