All MBLA members and friends are invited to the American Constitution Society’s Constitution Day celebration on September 30th. At the event, the ACS will be presenting the Chief Justice Margaret H. Marshall Award to Governor Deval L. Patrick, a most deserving honoree for his commitment to the ACS mission. The reception also celebrates the Constitution and ACS efforts in Boston. As you may know, the mission of ACS is to promote the vitality of the U.S. Constitution and the fundamental values it expresses: individual rights and liberties, genuine equality, access to justice, democracy and the rule of law. Founded in 2001, ACS is a still growing national network of lawyers, law students, scholars, judges, policymakers, and other concerned individuals.
